The Johnnie Walker paper-based bottle will change spirits packaging forever.
Made from sustainably sourced wood pulp, it’s our first recyclable paper-based spirits bottle. We can’t wait to introduce you to it.
The Johnnie Walker paper-based bottle is made using wood pulp drawn from certifiably renewable sources. The bottle is also made using renewable energy.
When you’re finished enjoying the whisky, the bottle can be dropped into your regular paper recycling bin.
Because we’re using natural materials, the Johnnie Walker paper-based bottle has a lower carbon footprint than typical spirits bottles made from glass. It’s also 75% lighter.
We’re trialing our first Johnnie Walker paper-based bottle this year and have big plans to introduce it to the rest of the world very soon.
Sustainability is a global challenge. We all have to come together to make a difference and collaboration is key. Pulpex was created by Diageo and Pilot Lite coming together, enabling us to work with other leading organisations to drive more sustainable packaging solutions for the future.
