Johnnie Walker Black Ruby Terms and Conditions (the "Promotion")

  1. The Promotion is open to all residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over.

  2. Employees of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Promotion are not permitted to enter the Promotion.

  3. To enter the Promotion, purchase a 70cl promotional bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Ruby Scotch Whisky from a participating Tesco store between 00:00 7 October 2025 and 23:59 29 December 2025 (inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”). Scan the QR code on the promotional neck collar or visit: https://www.johnniewalker.com/en-gb/black-ruby-competition , enter your first name, last name, email address, mobile number and upload your original itemised Tesco till receipt showing purchase of a 70cl bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Ruby within the Promotional Period for your chance to win a prize. Entries received outside of this time will be void and will not be entered into the Promotion. Internet access, a valid email address, mobile phone number and receipt upload are required to enter the Promotion.

  4. Receipt images uploaded must be itemised. The uploaded receipt will need to show the itemised purchase of a 70cl bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Ruby whisky within the Promotional Period. The time and date of purchase on your itemised receipt must be prior to your entry in order to be valid. Receipt images must be uploaded in .png, jpeg, tiff, bmp or .pdf format (size limited to 10MB). Each receipt image can only be used once for a single entry. Receipts must not be altered or tampered with. Any receipts that have been altered or tampered with will be deemed invalid. Receipts that are created or modified using artificial intelligence (AI), or any photo editing tools will not be accepted. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any receipt that they believe, at their sole discretion, has been created, amended or otherwise not in its original form.

  5. Maximum five (5) entries per person across the Promotional Period. Maximum one (1) prize per person.

  6. There will be fifty four (54) winners in total:

    a) Four (4) x Johnnie Walker Scotland Distillery Tours available to win (the “Tours”). The Tour will be an opportunity to discover one of the distilleries that contribute to the iconic Johnnie Walker blend, each offering a unique insight into the craftsmanship and character behind the whisky. There will be four (4) winners in total. Each winner will receive a Tour for two (2) people. The Tour must be booked within 12 months of the end of the Promotional Period and excludes the following dates; Edinburgh Fringe dates if the Glenkinchie Tour is chosen; Speyside Whisky Festival if the Cardhu Tour is chosen & Islay Feis Ile and Jazz Festival if the Caol lla Tour is chosen. All trips exclude Christmas and New Year period, Easter and bank holidays. The winners preferred dates will be noted but cannot be guaranteed.

    Winners will have the choice of the following Tours:

    i) Glenkinchie Tour includes:

    Tour of Glenkinchie Distillery;
    Economy flights / train travel for the winner and their guest to Edinburgh Airport / Railway Station from a London airport/train station;
    Chauffeur driven transport from hotel to and from Glenkinchie Distillery;
    Dinner for winner & guest in an Edinburgh City Centre restaurant; and
    1 x night accommodation in Edinburgh, bed and breakfast basis at a 4* star hotel.

    ii) Caol Ila Tour includes:

    Tour of Caol Ila Distillery;
    Economy flights for the winner and their guest to Glasgow from a London Airport/ Railway Station from any London airport/train station;
    Return travel to Islay (Flight from Glasgow or Ferry from Kennacraig);
    1 x night accommodation on Islay at a 4* star hotel, with dinner & breakfast and lunch the following day; and
    Tour of Lagavulin (Optional).

    iii) Clynelish Tour includes:

    Tour of Clynelish Distillery;
    Economy flights for the winner and their guest to Inverness Airport or train travel to Aberdeen Railway Station from a London airport/train station;
    1 x lunch & dinner for winner & guest; and
    1 x night accommodation in Inverness, on a bed and breakfast basis at a 4* hotel.

    iv) Cardhu Tour includes:

    Tour of Cardhu Distillery;
    Economy flights for the winner and their guest to Inverness Airport or train travel to Aberdeen Railway Station from a London airport/train station;
    1 x lunch & dinner for winner & guest; and
    1 x night accommodation in Speyside, on a bed and breakfast basis at a 4* hotel.

    b) Fifty (50) x Mixed Cases of Johnnie Walker Whisky available to win. There will be fifty (50) winners in total.

    Each case consists of Six (6) x 70cl bottles as follows:

    i) Johnnie Walker Black Label
    ii) Johnnie Walker Black Ruby
    iii) Johnnie Walker Blue Label
    iv) Johnnie Walker Double Black
    v) Johnnie Walker Green Label
    vi) Johnnie Walker Gold Label

  7. Winners will be selected by prize draw at the close of the Promotional Period. The winners will be the first valid entries electronically drawn at random from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions. The prize draw will take place within 14 days of the promotion close date. Winners will receive a phone call to the mobile phone number they registered upon entry within 21 days of the prize draw to award their prize.

  8. Winners will need to confirm their name & date of birth and confirm acceptance of their prize within 3 days of their winning phone call notification. Johnnie Walker Whisky mixed case prize winners will be required to also provide their postal address in order to claim their prize and for their prize to be dispatched. If the winner does not claim their prize within 3 days of their winning phone call, their prize will be forfeited, and an alternative winner may be selected by the same process as set out above at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

  9. Valid Johnnie Walker Scotland Distillery tour winners will be contacted by email and /or phone by the Promoter’s agency for flight / travel arrangements to be made and their Johnnie Walker Distillery Tour to be organised. Valid Johnnie Walker Whisky mixed case winners will have their prize dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any prize which is delayed, lost or unable to be delivered for whatever reason. Please ensure that you have supplied your postal address in Great Britain correctly as the Promoter will not be held responsible for any prizes that are undeliverable due to incorrect delivery details. We will not dispatch any prizes to virtual UK addresses such as, but not limited to AddressPal, Mail Boxes etc, Ghost Mail or OOH Pod.

  10. The Promoter will verify the eligibility of all entrants. The Promoter will require as much information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and the prize may be withheld unless or until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification. Entrants who use anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable, Mailinator or Apple’s “Hide my Email” feature will not be entered into the Promotion. Winners that do not fulfil the requirements set out in these terms and conditions will be disqualified.

  11. The winner and any companion(s), who must travel with the winner, must be over 18.

  12. If for reasons outside the control of the Promoter the Tour cannot take place on the proposed date or the proposed location an alternative date and/or location will be designated. The Promoter will have no liability or responsibility if the winner or their companion cannot attend on the revised dates or to the revised location.

  13. Other than the items specifically referred to in paragraph 6, the prize does not include, any other costs or expenses. The winner and their guest are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst enjoying the prize. The winner will be subject to the relevant ticketing terms and conditions and any and all relevant rules in place at the venue or location where the Tour is being held. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or guest from participation in the prize if the winner and/or their guest fails to comply withhe directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the prize or the winner and/or guest acts in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others.

  14. Where the winner’s prize involves travel, the winner and their guest are each responsible for ensuring that they each have a valid passport, are eligible for any applicable visa waiver programme or are in possession of a valid visa, as appropriate, and for ensuring that they have all necessary travel and medical insurance (prior to travelling and at all times during the period of travel) and any vaccinations as required.

  15. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or any of their guests that occurs as a result of the winner’s and/or their guests’ participation in the prize. The winner shall be responsible for any damage to the hotel or other venue (including their contents) visited by the winner and any guests throughout the trip caused by their deliberate or negligent act or omission.

  16. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances make this necessary. Please allow 28 days for delivery of the Johnnie Walker Whisky mixed case prize.

  17. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy which can be found at https://footer.diageohorizon.com/dfs/assets/www.diageo.com/PrivacyPolicy_en.html?locale=en-gb. The Promoter will only use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out the Promotion. Where the Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment of or delivery of the prize, the Promoter shall share your personal information with Umbrella Risk Management Limited who is responsible for the fulfilment of and delivery of the prize.

  18. Subject to paragraph 19 and without prejudice to the Promoter's data protection obligations under relevant law, the Promoter shall make available, upon receipt of a written request (which includes a stamped addressed envelope for such a response) to JWBL (8589), PO Box 906, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR, the winner's surname and county.

  19. Entrants to the Promotion can, at any time (including at or before the time of entry), object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 18 by writing to consumercare.GBandIreland@diageo.com However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out in paragraph 18 upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).

  20. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Promotion with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).

  21. Entries that contain any offensive or inappropriate content will be deleted and disqualified at the Promoter's discretion.

  22. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final.

  23. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Promotion and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

  24. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify entries deemed to be non-compliant with these terms and conditions or if it has any reason to believe that attempts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of Promotion.

  25. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Promotion or which are caused by a third party.

  26. This Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

  27. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Promotion.
