Give the gift of taste and prosperity this Chinese New Year with Johnnie Walker’s Blue Label Year of the Ox limited edition design. This Blue Label bottle design has been intricately illustrated by award-winning artist Shirley Gong. The ox is a symbol of prosperity and growth, celebrating good fortune and great achievements.
The illustration is matched by the rare whiskies and centuries of craft that creates the rich fruity flavours, effortlessly balanced smoke, and a remarkable depth of character waiting to be discovered.
The Johnnie Walker Limited Edition Chinese New Year design is the perfect whisky gift to wish colleagues and close friends a prosperous start to the new year and to mark the beginning of 2021’s Spring Festival. Crafted with a design to inspire people to think about the future in a positive and optimistic way – a gift that offers people hope for the coming year.
Only 1 in 10,000 casks in our unparalleled reserves of over 10 million maturing Scotch whiskies has the richness and character required to intricately craft Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Including some irreplaceable casks from long-closed “ghost” distilleries.
Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky Ambassador, Alistair Reynolds, crafted two new, easy-to-make Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktail recipes. Each are designed to be enjoyed and shared with colleagues and close friends during this year’s Spring Festival, the New Year, New Highball and Blue Label Bubbles.

The 2021 Chinese New Year design looks forward to a year of good fortune and great achievements. In the illustrations the ox is honoured for its majesty as a symbol of prosperity and growth.
