Short N' Sour
In honour of Sabrina Carpenter's Short 'n' Sweet tour, the Short n' Sour cocktail has been crafted using Johnnie Walker Black Label, and the sweetness of strawberry and rose flavours.
Mix Your Own
Ingredients
30ml Strawberry & rose syrup*
20ml Aquafaba
20ml Lemon juice
¼tsp Apple cider vinegar
3 drops Saline solution (1:4)
Garnish: Black pepper and purple basil leaf
50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label
*Strawberry & Rose Syrup
225g Fresh strawberries
225g White sugar
10ml Rose water
What You Need
Rocks glass
Cocktail shaker
METHOD
Make the Strawberry & Rose syrup:
Slice strawberries and mix with equal sugar by weight, seal and refrigerate overnight. Strain twice, adding rose water after first strain.Add an ice cube and all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
Shake hard, then add more ice and shake again.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with black pepper and a purple basil leaf.
