Try your hand at a Whisky Sour: made moreish by the contrast of the syrup and citrus flavors that perfectly complements the signature flavors of Johnnie Walker.
Served either over ice in a tumbler, or neat in a cocktail glass – the Whisky Sour is a classic that has stood the test of time.
INGREDIENTS:
• 2 oz Johnnie Walker Black Label
• 0.75 oz lemon juice
• 0.75 oz 1:1 simple syrup
• 2 dashes aromatic bitters
• Add in optional egg white
METHOD:
1. Add all the ingredients to a cocktails shaker
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all the ingredients.
2. Shake
Shake hard for 7-10 seconds (double this if you're using egg white) to mix all the ingredients.
3. Dry shake (Optional – only required if using egg white)
Strain into a glass, remove the ice and shake again without ice.
4. Strain and serve
Either serve neat in a cocktail glass, or over ice in a tumbler.
